Photographer Mark Royall graduated with honors from The Art Institute of Boston in 1972. His work has been published in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, Down East Magazine, Yankee Magazine, The Maine Times, The Portland Press Herald, and the Times Record.

His work has been displayed in numerous galleries including The Maine State Museum and the Chocolate Church.

In 1972 he opened his first studio on Park Row in Brunswick. In 1988 he moved his office and studio to 40 Belmont Street. Currently he is building a new outdoor environmental studio on Pinkham Point in Harpswell.
